Thousands of terminated federal employees should be reinstated immediately, Ninth circuit in SF declares.
The Office of Personnel Management has no authority to terminate. All the agencies have the authority to terminate employees.
Employees with stellar performance were fired in February 2025 for poor performance. The government didn’t even have the decency to bring witnesses to be cross-examined.

Imagine Trump and Hegseth assembling 800 generals in Virginia to talk about climbing stairs and eliminating fat generals! Trump said Biden fell down every day and Hegseth in his Hitleresque way spoke about the “warrior ethos”! Some flabbergasted generals went on YouTube to demand his resignation!

On Sept 19, the ninth circuit appellate court in SF ruled that the thousands of terminated federal employees had to be reinstated immediately. Employees with a “stellar performance” shouldn’t be terminated for “bad performance.” The Office of Personnel Management had no authority terminate the thousands in February. Each agency has authority to carry out terminations. The government didn’t even have the decency to send witnesses to be cross-examined! Congrats to AFL-CIO for winning the case against the US Office of Personnel Management!!
